Well mommy talk to Dr. Moore and he knew what was going on. He said that it had nothing to do with my lungs. It was my throat and or vocal cords spasming. He said that it was not a big deal and that kids will grow out of it. Reflux could cause it, being stressed or a viral infection, but none of those things really fit as to why it happened to me. He said that I should be okay. If they continue to be more frequent or more severe I should go to see an ear nose and throat doc but I should be just fine.

Dr. Moore said that there were no worries and that mom can sleep with out being concerned about my breathing. So hopefully she will sleep now. She keeps peeking in on me too much during the night.

So far no one knows why I did what I did. So hopefully it will not happen again. Mommy called all my doc's in the cities to cover all the bases.

Anyway everything else is good. Yesterday I showed mommy how I can sit up in my bumbo chair and try to stay upright all by myself. Maybe I will show daddy tonight. I got a new bubble machine, it is a piggy and he makes lots of cool bubbles. When they pop they make me laugh. That's about all for now.

Oh ya mommy and I made brownies this morning with peanut butter chips. I got chocolate all over my face. It sure tasted yummy.

We made it home. After keeping everyone up, the only definite diagnosis is that I have the cutest hair.

My lungs sound clear in front and back. My heart sounds good. My oxygen levels are great. I got my chest x-rayed twice and that looked good except for a little area that kinda looked like it could be a bronchial infection. Except, I don't have any other symptoms.

The doctor on-call at the hospital called the on-call Neurologist at the Noran Clinic. No worries, Mommy is supposed to call Dr. Burnstein Monday morning.

I was very well behaved too. I only slept a little Saturday night and was up right away Sunday morning. And, I was in a good mood. We played and sang on the hospital bed. I made a mess with my breakfast, there were pancakes all over. I met a cool nurse, Mommy and Daddy liked talking to her. She has a special needs son. I got to learn about him and ideas for giving mom and dad a workout.

Time for bed.

So, I had a little trouble breathing last night. It scared me and mom and dad. We went to the ER and they wanted to monitor me all night.

We are still here and I am ready for a nap. The diagnosis so far is that I am cute. No other news yet. Let you know more when we get home.

We heard back from Dr Burnstein and I have no seizure activity. I have abnormal spikes in the occipital lobe but no seizures. So that is a good thing but not sure what makes me have the colonic jerks. It could just be the PVL.

I had my vision teacher come out today along with Kate and Jenny (PT & OT) and she said that she was very impressed with the progress that I have made in the last three months. Mommy was happy to hear that and so were the therapist. My vision teacher just thinks that my eyes not staying straight is because I get fatigued when using my vision.

Mommy also made my first dentist appointment and I go May 19 for my exam. That should be interesting.

I have been getting used to my chair this week too. We have gone for several walks and I like it better than my stroller. Mommy and daddy are very happy about that. I get to spend more time outside. We have also been sitting outside and playing. I like that a lot, especially when mommy brings the bubbles out.

Warm Sunday...

Yay, we had a great day. We went to Heidi's moms house and played with her kids.  Then we went to Cold Stone for ice cream. It was so yummy. Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for diner too. After we came home we went for a walk with my new wheel chair. It was so nice to be outside. Daddy also took me walking out side too.
Hope everyone had a great day.

Today I got my kid cart (wheel chair) today.  It was hard on mommy and daddy.  I too will have to get used to it. Soon mom and I can start going for our walks again.

Yesterday I went swimming with mom and while we were swimming I pooped in my little swimmers. Big mess. Then they closed the locker room for cleaning and we had to hurry up to clean everything. HA HA moms biggest fear me pooping in the pool. Anyway all turned out well. h
