And we're back.............

Well the procedure went well, of course holding Christina down in the OR is one of the worst things in the world. But she made it through with no complications. We did decide that next time to use versed, heavy sedation drug, to help make the going to sleep easier and she will forget most of everything that occurs.  After the OR we all went swimming to make part of the day fun.

The trip up there went very well not one tear. I even got pulled over and she did not cry with flashing lights in the back. THe journey home was not so great but at least there was one good way.

Today we filmed the UCP commercial for the Wissota winter classic. Of course Christina wanted Daddy. She is anti mommy since the OR episode and will be for a few days.  Her and Daddy looked very cute.

So we are back to getting back on schedule. Yes I know that is redundant but oh well.  Jan 21 we will find out if Christina will go to school more days during the week.

We met awhile back at a CVI meeting at a local hotel - I am the parent of a special boy named - Brextin - you can read more about him on his blog www.brextinshope.blogspot.com Our son has CVI, severe epilepsy (currently his seizures are not controlled), and a smaller head than the normal child. He is currently in Madison doing oxygen therapy and will return soon - However the main reason why I am emailing is that I see your daughter attends the "Special school" in EC and has Mary as a teacher - well my son turns 3 in May and might be in the class starting next year (depending if I am willing to let go) - we will be taking a school tour in Feb - and would like to know more about your daughter's experiences at the school - I am nervous in regards to sending him - since he only functions at a 6 -9 month old. Any help in making the transisiton would be good - since he turns 3 in May - the district won't actually be excepting him until the next school year - I look forward to hearing back from you - thank you so much - Randi
