Christina is doing well at therapy. She has Physical Therapy every weekday. Occupational and Speech Therapy each once a week.

School is in full swing and a routine is close to set. Christina also has therapy at school.

Like most other differently-abled children, Christina has a busy schedule.

She also works harder than most others I know.

It has been a long time since updated the blog. Again, my apologies. I have meant to post this quite some time ago.

Having been in the hospital for so long and this stay was quite different from the others, I find myself running ideas for future stays through my head.

The common question since returning is "How is Christina doing?". The simple answer is "She is doing well." The best answer would be "I do not know."

Ahhh... it is good to be home.

Christina is feeling much better. We must keep an eye on her for a few weeks, but I am confident the princess is done with this round of sickness.

It was nice to snuggle with Christina, but I'd rather not have her in the hospital. Maybe Christina and I can have some extra snuggle time every few weeks. It was very peaceful resting with the princess when she was not in pain. I did not sleep well, but is was very peaceful in its own way.

Christina's diagnosis is serum sickness and drug eruption caused by the antibiotic she was taking for the respiratory sickness she caught the week before.

It was so hard on Christina. She was in so much pain and discomfort. Christina was quite the trooper and did her best in the hospital.

Met with UCP and someone from the school district about other equipment and toys for Christina. Good meeting and lots of brain storming.

I think Christina might be a little spoiled. ;)

The colder temps have been a nice change. It's cold, but its winter and has been quite mild.

Christina's surgery went well; however, now the princess is coming down with a cold or something. We'll plan on a mellow weekend. If I'm lucky maybe some serious cuddle time with my baby.

Today Christina had her Phenol blocks and Botox shots. It seemed to take longer than usual for the princess to wake up.

Once again I will state that it does not get any easier watching your child get put down.

The hospital seemed a little off today, but I think it was more the new policies that are getting implemented. Each visit seems to have at least one new policy that interrupts the flow for awhile.

I'm feeling productive since as I post this I am backing up the pictures from the week. The backups should be done tonight then I will upload some pics for the slideshow. And for those paying attention, yes I did say 'backups' plural.Original, local backup, off site backup, redundant local backup.
