The latest round of Phenol blocks and Botox shots was Wednesday the 17th at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.

All went well as usual. Christina weighed in at 19.7kg or 43.4 pounds. No height this time, but the last appointment they took a measure she was 118 cm or 46.5 inches. My princess is growing so fast.

Christina needed a haircut so scheduled one for Saturday at Ravin Manes with Sabrina. Christina looks so nice.

And I got my haircut also earlier in the week. A big thanks to Sabrina.

Hopefully my hair grows fast so I can cut it and donate it.

Christina did not have school on Monday the 15th. So, we took full advantage of the extra playtime.

We played outside despite the cold temperatures. And Christina worked hard doing lots of walking in her Kidwalk.

Pedal In Place 2016

Coming up on February 28 is the Pedal in Place stationary bike race to benefit Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. This fundraiser helps to provide adapted bicycles to kids with special needs. Soon I will be looking into getting a bike for Christina. Christina loves riding a bike at therapy and school.

Christina and I were interviewed by Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare for a fundraiser being held by Friends of Gillette.

The fundraiser was to raise money for the new playroom in the soon to be remodeled rehabilitaion unit at the St. Paul, MN campus.

The rehab unit is where Christina stayed during recovery/therapy after her rhizotomy surgery.

The interview went well and Gillette made a beautiful video. Christina and I also attended the fundraiser and spoke to the attendees.

I recently learned Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare is a non-profit and is a Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Two more reasons the be pleased with Gillette.
