Well today mommy had to take me to the doctor. While Melissa was over playing with me my tooth popped and there was blood everywhere. She has kids and she said that was not normal. So off to the doc we went. Then the doc wasn't sure and went and got another doc. I am okay but have a big hole in my mouth and floppy gums hanging out over it. Soo they say that the worst is over and I officially have both molars out.

Aunt Sheri should have baby B soon and I am exited to meet my cousin.

Mommy got me big girl underwear and I wore them on Sunday for over an hour and had no accidents. Grandma, mommy and daddy were so proud of me.

On Saturday mommy, daddy and I went to the YMCA to go swimming. Daddy took me into his locker room and got me ready for the pool. Then got me showered and ready to go home. Mommy was so proud of daddy for trying and succeeding in the task of the locker room. It is a lot of work.

Guess what mommy and I went to the park yesterday. It was so much fun we went swinging. It was my very first time that I went on the playground stuff. Well it is the first time I have been old enough. I liked the swing it was so much fun. I then walked a real long way with mommy's assistance back to the car.

After that we went to see Daddy at work and share all the fun stuff mommy and I just did.

Video EEG

We made it. We had to get up at 4 AM to get ready and get to my appointment on time. I really did not want to get up this morning, who wants to get up at 4? Well I guess I like to when I don't have to. The car ride was not too bad I did not mind the way up there. I had my goofy balls to play with and they kept me happy. I also think that I like it dark out, it is easier on my eyes and belly.
So I did not like my EEG they used something that smelled like air plane glue and used a vacuum suction to make it stick. It was not a happy place. Then we hung out for many hours. We did normal things like stretches, playing and chew time. I was not too hungry.
The ride home I slept and then slept more when we got home.
Anyway grandma Kar came over and we played. I am very tired and my teeth are giving me problems. We will find out the results of the EEG next week. The tech said that I have abnormal spikes in my occipital lobe ( the rear right side). She also said that the rest of my EEG showed organized brain function.
Occipital lobe controls vision and color recognition. Anyway official results later. I am very tired and so is mommy and daddy. Night, night.

Thank you Uncle James for calling to see how I did. That means a lot that you were thinking of me.
I will follow this weekend with pictures of my experience.

Easter Sunday

Well we went to Easter dinner at grandpa Darrell's. The meal was very good. I liked to ham and fruit a lot. But we ended up leaving very early because I guess that people have problems accepting me for me with my abilities or disabilities.  I find that very disgusting, I am family and no one wants to just get to know me for me. I am a happy, loving little girl.

So to everyone else my easter was good. Mom, dad, grandma Kar and I had lots of fun playing with my blocks and then had a yummy supper.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter.
Love Christina

I did not have therapy today because Kate was sick but she will come to see me on Thursday with Jenny. Tomorrow I get to go swimming and maybe go to see the Easter Bunny. Mom says it's up to me if we do both. So thats about it. Talk to everyone later.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Not much going on just a lot of teeth coming at one time. Now there are too many to count. So I guess I just have a mouth full of teeth. They are good for bitting.

So if anyone has any questions about my test or what it means  mom or dad will be happy to answer any of them.

EEG Results

Well the EEG results were not the greatest. They called on Monday and said that mom and dad need to bring me back up the the hospital to have a 4 hour EEG video. There is something going on with the right side rear of my brain and they are not sure what it is. Mommy told me that with clonic seizures it evolves the whole brain not a portion but there are seizures that just evolve a portion. So we go back on the 25 bright and early to find out what is wrong.

Today mommy and I went to get some puzzles and blocks. We had fun and enjoyed the warm weather. HA 42 is warm!! We went to Coffee Grounds and mommy had coffee and I had some pedisure. We came home and I was tired so I took a nap. Thats about it. I do like my new toys. The blocks are fun to knock over.

Doc update

Well I did not like the drive there or back. My teeth really hurt and well I just did not like it and I told mommy and daddy all about it.

My first appointment was with Burnstein my neurologist.  Everything went pretty well. I got my official diagnosis of quad cerebral palsy and mixed tone cerebral palsy. I had to get an EEG done because he noticed something called clonic jerks and that could be a type of seizure so we are waiting for the EEG results. I did not like the electrodes and glue in my hair but after they put all the goo on my head I fell asleep on mommy lap.

Then we went to Dr. Tanaguchi my bone and muscle doctor. I got my braces re adjusted so I can not get my foot out. My hips are doing good so far. He brought up the idea of botox injections and  something called a phenol block. That is when they do injections into the nerve to block it's function so I can move easier. I would have to go under  anesthesia for that. But not right now it is just a thought that will happen in the near future.

Well that about sums it up. If anyone has questions feel fee to ask mommy and daddy.

Well Friday is going to be a long day. Mommy told me that we are going to the cities to two different appointments. I go see Dr. Burnstien (neurology) and Dr. Tanaguchi (bone and muscle). I hope that it won't be too long of a day but I will update everyone when I get home. I also hope to see Becky and Jan. They were my favorite nurses in ICC. I would like to see Bonnie too she was my NICU nurse, she really helped mommy and daddy when I first came. I would like to show them how much I have grown.

Speaking of growing I got new shoes because I grew out of all of my other ones. I am getting so big. I am waiting for the weather to get better because mom keeps telling me about the park: slides and swings. I can't wait to go and try them out.

On Thursday I painted daddy a picture for his birthday. Mommy and Grandma helped me but I picked out the colors. It was a lot of fun.

On Sunday daddy, mommy and I went to Coffee Grounds and met grandpa there. It was pretty fun and I even walked around a little with mommy's help.

This is my green ball that lights up- Daddy got it for me. I really like it.

Me playing around in the morning- Aren't my feet too cute?

Daddy and I playing with my peek a boo toy.
