Happy Valentine's Day to all!!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

I received Christina's school pictures today and they are beautiful. Christina is such a cutie.

Now to decide where to hang them.

Christina has another cousin. Congratulations Dan, Sheri, and Dylan.

I have another niece, yeah!!! Christina you have another cousin.

Daddy'S Log 20110130

The telethon was an experience again. Christina was her smiley self making everyone smile. She was mistaken for Moriah, the current feature child, often.

Sunday we played outside for quite awhile. We went for a walk, sat in the snow, and did a little sledding. The snow I've been piling up on the steps worked out well for Christina's sled. Christina looked so cute all bundled up.

Christina was her happy self for most of the day on Saturday. Towards the end of the telethon Christina had enough and she told us. Unfortunately she did not want to take part with the other children gathered around while Warren sang "Thank God For the Children".

Sunday we made up for lost play time. Christina was in a super good mood and thought it would be fun to pick on dad. Everything I suggested we play, Christina did not want to do. Then half an hour or so later she would walk over to whatever I suggested earlier and wanted to play. Anything from reading, cooking, gait trainer, etc. the princess only wanted to play if it was her idea.

Christina did agree with me when we went outside. Christina looks very cute all bundled up.

Daddy's Log 20110109

It was a great weekend. Christina started the weekend by spreading her super good mood to everyone. No one could resist her smiles and loads of stories.

Sunday we got our breath of fresh air and bundled up for outside. Christina loved it and I had to pull rank and tell her we were going inside. I wasn't cold yet and by the looks and sounds of things neither was she, but the dad feeling said 'no' go inside before feeling cold. Kids change a person, before I would have stayed outside most of the day and liked it. Now I worry too much about Christina.

Christina had lots to say to everyone she ran into on Saturday. She was over-flowing with stories and super vocal. They were wonderful stories as she had huge smiles and giggles while telling them. Even over the phone no one could resist smiling and laughing with her.

Sunday we ventured outside for a short while taking advantage of the slightly warmer temperature. All bundled up and looking like a ball of clothes, Christina did not want to come inside. We came inside and went out again a little later for another short bit to come to a compromise. Again, Christina the penguin did not want to come inside. The fresh air did us both good.

Christina is over being sick, but her teeth are still bothering her. I will be glad when they pop through.
