This weeks slideshow has pictures of morning smiles and laughs, gait trainer time outside and making cookies. Also pictures from swim therapy and hippotherapy. A better shot of wagon rides and Christina giving Grandma her Mother's Day gift. And we followed with a couple pictures from the hospital.

Christina had another round of Phenol and Botox shots at Children's on Tuesday. All went well. Christina came out of recovery quicker than last time and was full of hugs. To say it again, I never find it easier to watch Christina be put under.

Later that day Christina was super giggly and wanted to go go go. She ate well and seemed to be good with minimal medication for pain.

Her teeth on the other hand have been painful and persistent. The two top eye teeth are poking through, but a molar in the back is being a bully and quite irritating for my princess.

Christina loves being outside and wants to walk all over the yard and up and down the sidewalk. During a storm with a heavy down pour Christina wanted to go outside. I opened the door for her to look out. That was not enough so I picked her up and we stood with one foot outside for a few seconds. Christina thought it was hilarious and wanted to go outside still. I waited until it stopped raining and we walked through the grass barefoot.

Christina wanted lots of outside play this weekend and with the sunny warm weather she got it.

Christina did lots of walking both in and out of the gait trainer. She had a field day going up and down the ramp.

We read outside under the umbrella and had brunch Sunday outside. The weather was great.

Christina has her next round of shots coming up next month.

Lots of outside play this weekend. The weather was nice. May even call it warm.

Christina wanted to spend most of the day outside and wanted to go go go. She walked like a champ. I'm so proud of her.

Christina lost another tooth. The other eye tooth this time.

Christina still has some molars coming in giving her some grief. I will be glad, I am sure she will also, when they are all in.

Christina has also managed to stay pretty healthy this season. Yea Christina for a good immune system.

Christina has really been showing her desire to spend more time outside. We did some walking in the gait trainer and she did beautifully.

Christina has been pushing everyone's buttons to check the limits. Pretty typical for a six year old, but not any fun for those getting pushed.

Christina enjoyed spring break and is glad to be back to school.

Speech at the university is going well. And swim therapy starts back up this week. The pool was down for maintenance so no swim therapy for a few weeks. I am sure Christina will be glad for that to start again.

Young Athletes has been fun. Christina has worked/played with a couple different volunteers. She gives them some grief, but I have caught her smiling on more than one occasion. When interrogated afterwards she admits to having a good time. I am unsure if it is the activities she enjoys or if making the volunteers work so hard is her true enjoyment.

Christina had fun searching for her Easter basket and then of course munching on candy.

Easter weekend was good.

Had fun with Christina and I was productive around the house.

With another month gone it is time to check backups.

Christina has been showing her attitude lately. Gonna have to work on that.

Been sick and under the weather. Getting better slowly.

Christina has done well not getting sick. We have had lots of cuddle time and more mellow play. Sunday she even took a nap with me. What a treat.

Christina has been doing very well fighting off the colds, flu, and other ailments. Her teeth on the other hand have been quite uncomfortable. Christina has been busy with Young Athletes, lots of reading, and therapies. Christina was pleased to go for a wagon ride early Sunday morning and it was still dark so she could use her flashlight.

The latest doctor appointment went well overall. We also had Christina's AFOs adjusted. Christina was quite the trooper and did better than usual for her x-rays.
